Holly & Phillip

Holly & Phil’s last day of term couldn’t of gotten off to a more banging start as their last final show consisted of the funniest TM best bits so far, presented by John Barrowman, and the pair also had a sports day, which saw Holly & Phil have two teams of their own. We didn’t quite get the name of Holly’s team, but Phil’s team was called ‘Schofe’s Spooners’, and elegantly enough, the team leader Phil himself got given an apron with ‘Schofe’s Spooners’ on the front, and Phil’s team had to do the egg and spoon race, while Holly’s team had to do both the egg and spoon race and sack race! Even Holly’s baby son, Harry, 14 months joined in. He must’ve enjoyed being carried around in the sack by the lovely Joe Swash! Of course, firstly Phil’s team had a winner, as Gino D’Acampo was the first to get to the finish line without dropping the egg, and then as two members out of each team got together, Gino made Phil scream ‘the shame of it!’ while Mark of Holly’s team got to the finish line, making Holly’s team win while Phil’s lost out! Later in the day, all the This Morning team got outside for a garden party and barbeque with Gino D’Acampo, although it nearly went up in flames almost when Gino turned the gas cooker round, so Holly & Phil couldn’t see the hobs to turn the heat down! And was it steamy?! Oooh, yes, as there was also wine involved!

Today on This Morning, Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby along with soap queen Sharon Marshall had a snail race. The race was on to see who’s snail would get to the finish line first. Funnily enough, the snails had labels on their shells as to who they belonged to. One was Holly’s, one was Phil’s and one was Sharon’s. Of course, Holly’s head had fallen off the snail’s shell, and Phil’s snail ended up going out of his own place and near Sharon’s! During the race, the finish line was later moved as it was too far away for the slow snails and eventually Holly won it as her snail was the first to go near the finish line!

It’s unusual on the last day of the week, but before their summer break, Holly & Phillip are scheduled to stand in and host This Morning: Friday on 16th July 2010. Their floor manager joked if they refused to do the job they wouldn’t get a summer break. So Holly & Phil have agreed to do it as they’ve been told they may aswell as after that day their summer break begins!

Today on This Morning saw Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby go head to head to see who could be the pea-shooting champ! Of course, as Holly was about to shoot her pea, it got stuck in the tube! The man gave her something to get it out with, and after her three goes in shooting peas, it seems Phil had beaten her, as he’d got his peas spot on each time and earned himself the pea crown! It’s pea work if you can get it!

We are glad to announce that Holly & Phillip on a weekend has been such a success that This Morning: Saturday and This Morning: Sunday has been extended up to September 2010! Holly & Phil will stand in and record the programmes within the weekend up until 3 months time. We are unsure this will go on forever, however, we know the weekend shows have been very successful up to now and have been extended up until September.

It’s no surprise that Phillip Schofield, being a contestant in Torvill & Dean’s Dancing on Ice, is set to score another perfect thirty when five stars later become 4 in three weeks time. Phil will be skating to Frankie Goes To Hollywood hit Relax, and boy does he have a spectacular firey routine in store? After which Phil and skating partner Holly may book their place into the final, which will start on the 6th August 2010. Keep your eyes peeled, Phil may even be put through to skate Bolero for the chance to be crowned this year’s champ!

Just by the fact the sun’s shining outside doesn’t stop Holly & Phil enjoying their day off. Sitting on a deckchair, the couple can’t resist enjoying the sun together, even though they might of broke up for a week!
